Markus Vallazza

Born in Ortisei St. Ulrich (South Tyrol) in 1936. Spent time studying in Florence, Paris and Vienna. He now lives and works in Vienna and Bolzano/Bozen. Numerous exhibitions at home and abroad, including at the Secession and Albertina in Vienna.

Vienna, 1805 – Vienna, 1845

Danhauser was among the leading painters of the Viennese Biedermeier movement. His main works feature images from Austrian history and genre pictures with scenes from bourgeois society.
