Unconditionally
unique
33 artists embellished one room each. The only conditions: their art had to match the carpet, and delight the eye.

For years, a carpet dealer in Milan collected hand-knotted Gabehs in Iran until every room at the Greif had one. Apart from that the artists had a free hand, and used it elegantly, cheekily or sensually in their paintings, drawings or installations. Some let their imagination run wild; others wove in personal memories; some have Old Masters at their side. On the day the hotel opened, every artist slept in ‘their’ room. Look around. Which room suits you?
