Daydreams, wishes, memories, realities … see what goes on beneath the surface.

Artist Barbara Tavella in Room 214
To enter Room 214 is to enter the personal microcosm of Barbara Tavella, a South Tyrolean artist who combines photography, painting and applications in her own idiosyncratic style. The rose is a recurring motif in Tavella’s work. ’Familiar objects are positioned so they become part of the room,’ she says of her work at the Greif. ‘The objects stem from everyone’s daily life, yet evoke dream realities.’
