Some female nudes are the epitome of human desire. Others are simply life drawings.

In Room 204, a drawing by Viennese artist Robin Christian Andersen (1890–1969) complements Elisabeth Hölzl’s immersive sensory experience. In 1909, Andersen founded the New Art Group or ’Neukunstgruppe’ with Egon Schiele and Anton Faistauer. His early work stands between Secessionism and moderate Expressionism. The charcoal drawing ’Female Nude’ dates from around 1920.
